I had an amusing little client today. She is a little lady who is boldly quitting smoking and getting a massage to start off on the right foot. She happily talks through most of the session and towards the end, after quieting down for a period she inquires as to how long I'd been working at the spa. I tell her a year and a half. She replies, "Well, I've had a few professional massages and you are really great. I figured you've been working here the whole six years the spa has been here."
It was such an unexpected compliment. It also reminds me that this is truly something I was meant to do. I know I am blessed to be able to share a gift that makes so many people soooo happy. And if you're curious about the place I work at, check it out:
